Day 2 of Potty Training and Shopping

Angie had started having dry diapers on a regular basis so I decided to start potty training. We decided to dive in and put her in panties even though we were going shopping. Angie, Aunt Darby and I met Grandpa Bob at the Outlets to go shopping. When we first got there we went to the potty. In the first store while I was trying on clothes Angie made #2 in the form of pebbles and wiggled them out onto the floor. Grandpa Bob pointed out the issue and let Aunt Darby do the work. Aunt Darby was a champ and cleaned it up and took her to the bathroom to "finish" and get new clothes on.

The next store we went to Angie decided to empty her bladder through her clothes and all over the floor. Being the responsible little girl that she is she started to clean up her mess with some nicely folded sweaters nearby (ones at the store that we did not intend to buy). Again she was with Grandpa Bob who pointed out the problem and let Darby and I take care of things. I rushed Angie off to the car to get her third outfit on for the day while Darby got the employees to clean up the puddle. I am grateful that the floor was just concrete and the store did not make us buy the sweaters. I did laugh a little when Darby said with me and Angie gone she felt funny telling the store employees about the puddle with no toddler there it kind of looked like Darby made the puddle. I put Angie in a pull up and that was the end of the potty training disasters for the day.

While shopping at Carters Angie played with the legos but being the OCD girl that she is she had to put all the colors in the right spot. We thought it was a little amazing and quite funny that she did this on her own.
Angie loves to spend time with her Grandpa Bob.
When it was time for us to leave and go our separate ways we put Angie in her car seat. Angie kept telling Grandpa Bob to "sit here" and pointed to the seat next to her in the car. She was very sad to leave Grandpa Bob and he was eating up every moment of it. We had an eventful but fun shopping trip.

I was soooooooo glad we brought plastic bags with us. How could I have cleaned up her little poo pebbles without them? Gotta give Angie credit though. She did not have any issues with potty the whole way in on the Ortega.
