New Years Eve 2010

We had some friends over to celebrate New Years Eve toddler style at noon.
Rae got the party blower down.
It took Angie a while but she finally learned how to make the noise maker work.

Andy had a great time holding baby Kensie who slept through the whole celebration.
Later that night we went to our city's New Years Eve celebration and made some fun hats.
Then one last look at the Christmas train setup at Derek and Kathy's. 2010 has been good and we look forward to what 2011 has in store for us.

Christmas Clean-up

I could not be more proud...while cleaning up the Christmas decorations Angie decided on her own to pull out the stick vacuum to clean up the tree needles. I love that she loves to help and that she does so on her own sometimes. Do you think this will continue into her teenage years :) ?

Baby is a.......

We decided to go to a place in Costa Mesa that charges only $25 to have an early ultrasound to find out the sex of the baby. Angie read some books with Daddy while we waited our turn.
The verdict is....... BOY! We feel excited and nervous at the same time. I feel comfortable taking care of my little girl and would take some adjusting to feel comfortable taking care of a little boy. We are super excited to have one girl and one boy though.
After the ultrasound we took Angie to see the Newport Beach Temple. One of her favorite church songs is "I Love to See the Temple". It was a nice bonus that they still had the nativity up for her to see too.
Angie loves to point out Baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
It was rainy and cold but we had to get some pictures with our precious little girl.
I like when I can get pictures with Angie. Usually I feel like I am the one chasing her around with the camera.
We got some pictures in-front of the door to the temple.
You can see the rain falling in this picture. What a great evening to share together as a family!

Sharing Bounce House

Angie showing a little attitude in her new princess jammies.
Those blue eyes still shine through.
Angie wanted to invite her friend Rae over to jump in the bounce house. They had a great time!
Apparently it is a toddler wrestling ring too.
Baby Kensie came over for her first visit. So precious!

Here is Angie in her new Christmas dress that I bought in 4T in the hopes that it will fit next year too. Angie likes to call it her ladybug dress.

Christmas 2010

Christmas morning we started with the stockings. Angie had a good time digging in.
One of her stocking stuffers was a lip gloss. She loved caking it on all over her face. I may regret having Santa get that for her.
Showing off her beautiful lip gloss application.
Angie's big gift from Santa was a new big girl bed spread for her new bed.
Here Stephen and Andy show off their manly slippers.
Andy has had Kermit slippers for a while but Stephen got his Godzilla slippers for Christmas this year.
This was Angie's gift for her Daddy, a new belt. She is showing him how it works.
Angie's GG Cindy made a tutu and cute headband for her.
Grandma Kathy got her some princess jammies. They are now her first choice if available.
She also got a broom from Grandma Kathy to help Mommy around the house.
Now the big present that Grandma Kathy got for Angie was a bounce house. This will get tons of use!
She is so happy to jump!

Video of the jumping action.
Kathy is showing Andy her new iPhone and teaching him a new trick.
Angie is drinking her juice and doing her signature twirling of her hair.
Everyone sitting at the table while Stephen slaves away doing most of the cooking. Again I was super to happy to have someone else do the cooking. It was a delicious meal too!
Aww, they are super cute!
This is the one thing that I did cook, homemade dinner rolls.
More opening of presents after dinner.
Angie got her very own princess camera from Grandpa Bob and Grandma Kris.
What a big box! Glad I didn't have to wrap that one :)
Andy got a shop-vac from Darby and Stephen.
Angie sure looks good in Aunt Darby's new hat. We had a wonderful Christmas filled with spending time with family, a delicious meal and lots of fun.

Christmas Eve with Grandpa Bill and Grandma Yumiko

We celebrated Christmas Eve at Grandpa Bill and Grandma Yumiko's home. Yumiko made a delicious dinner. I was so grateful to not have to cook being so sick from the pregnancy. Angie loves animals and was happy to bond with Can Can Yumiko's cat, constantly following her or asking where she was.
Later we had a small gift exchange. Angie loves to break open the presents now.
Angie got a beautiful dress for her and for her doll.
A cute little silly gift to open.
Wow a doughnut with sprinkles on it.
What do you mean it is an ornament and not real for eating? Angie was very confused but later loved pointing it out on our tree. We had a nice evening with family.
