Week 30

Week 30, time is flying by. We can now count the remaining weeks on our fingers. This last week Andy's mom Kathy was visiting from Phoenix and bought us some bedding for the crib and some cute outfits. So fun. So now as we start to get things together in the nursery we will post pictures.
Here is the crib with the cute bedding Grandma bought.

Out to Dinner

After the ultrasound we all went out to dinner at El Torrito .
Andy, Kathy (Mom), Megan (and Baby), and Bob (Dad)
Baby & Megan with Grandma and Grandpa
Here the boys are trying to push their bellies out to make me feel smaller.

Uncle Rico Pose

Here is one of the precious photos of our baby girl. You can see her right hand on her cheek. We were amazed at how much she moves and all of her many facial expressions seen on the ultrasound video. Hopefully Andy will be able to edit some of the video for us to post. What you see surrounding her is the placenta. We kept trying to get her to move away from the placenta to get a better view of her. Later in the video Andy was poking at where her head was and she made the cutest little pouty face.

Precious Little Feet

We had a 3D/4D ultrasound on Friday. It was so neat to be able to have so many of our loved ones with us to enjoy the experience. I obviously was there (they tried to start without me, just kidding) and so was Andy, Kathy (Andy's mom), Bob (Megan's dad), Darby (Megan's sister) and Cameron (Megan's brother). We got another confirmation that baby is a baby girl. In this picture you can see both of baby's feet. She likes to cross her legs. We are very excited to be able to kiss those cute little feet.

Week 29

Well now it seems like I need to hold baby up with my hands. I had thought that I was not going to use my warm winter clothes any more but this week has been cold and rainy. That is fine with me because I am beginning to learn that I do not tolerate the heat very well. This last week when we visited my dad and it was 106 degrees outside I started to have more braxton-hicks contractions. After taking it easy for a few days thankfully they settled down.

Family Dinner

On Sunday we had a delicious multi-course meal at Andy's dad's home. It was Western American meets Traditional Japanese cuisine. Take that Martha Stewart!

Happy birthday Daddo

On Saturday we went out to Temecula for Megan dad's birthday. We saw Iron Man and then went out to dinner. Just in case you were wondering Andy did not spill chocolate on his shirt which he is covering up with his hand. Happy 30th anniversary of your 29th Birthday Daddo.

Out to dinner with Gram

Andy's Grandmother was visiting from northern California and we were able to spend Friday evening visiting with her.

Week 28

Here is a picture with the "minky" (meaning super soft blanket) that Grandma Maureen made. We had our doctor visit this week and Andy is such a brat. I got on the scale and it was showing that I had gained over 50 lbs. It turns out that Andy had his foot on the scale and the nurse was going along with the joke. Not a good way to keep my blood pressure down by scaring me to death. I need a way to get him back.

Goodbye to our Friends the Vanzulli's

This is us with our friends Adrian and Emily Vanzulli. Adrian has taken a job with Microsoft (Andy calls them the evil empire) in the Seattle area. Thus they will be moving. We will miss having them here. Good luck Adrian and Emily.

Week 27

Time continues to fly by. This week we went on the hospital tour at Saddleback Hospital. I have never been in a room with so many pregnant women. This is starting to feel real. We really look forward to holding our little angel and enjoy each little kick and wiggle we are able to feel.

Week 26

Time seems to be flying by. I guess this is the end of my second trimester or beginning of my third trimester depending on how you look at it. Wow the third trimester is the last trimester! My nesting instincts are hitting hard which means a long to do list for poor Andy. Look for upcoming pictures as we get things ready.
