Bye Bye Grandma Kathy and John

It came time for Grandma Kathy and John to go back home.
While the last minute packing was being done Angie and John made some artwork on the sidewalk.
We had a fun time having Grandma Kathy and John visit. We were all sad to see them go.

Zoomars

Grandma Kathy wanted to take us to Zoomars in San Juan Capistrano. It is a cute little petting zoo. First stop was the bunnies.
It was nice that she was curious and not afraid.
Cute picture of Angie with Grandma Kathy.
"Tweet tweet" we saw some birdies.
Angie fed some llamas.

The rooster kept crowing and Angie was not too happy about it.
Then we went on the train.
Next we fed some goats.
Some were little kids just Angie's size.
I think I was more worried about Angie's fingers than she was.
They even had some piggies.

Here is a cute video of Angie say "onk onk", her version of oink oink. I love capturing the little way she says things.
Funny looking turkeys as well.
A sleepy baby cow/calf.
"Baa" Angie enjoyed seeing the sheep. It was cute to hear her say all the animal noises to them.

Angie digs right in.

This strange goat was as wide as it was long. I am guessing it was prego?
Angie "helping" the goat find some hay.
We finished off where we began with the bunnies.
There were guinea pigs as well.
Thanks Grandma Kathy for the fun time exploring all the animals!

Happy Father's Day

We had Grandpa Bill and Grandma Yumiko over for dinner on Father's Day. So fun to have a day to pay tribute to Father's. I admire how great a Daddy Andy is to our precious Angie.

Califia Beach with Grandma

Grandma Kathy came for a visit and had requested to go to the beach. We were happy to go and pleasantly surprised that there was no June gloom at the beach but it was sunny and warm.

I love to watch this little girl! Here she is running around with Grandma Kathy, John and her Daddy.
Angie had a good time playing in the sand.
She thought it was fun to bury her feet.
A close up picture to show that every inch of her got wet in the ocean. This little California girl has no fear of the beach.
Her Daddy was happy to escort her to the water.
She was so brave that she would try to get Daddy to let go of her hand even when the waves were coming.
She loves to snuggle with Daddy.
More digging in the sand with her friends.
They had built a wall to keep the water from getting them as the tide came in. Of course Angie kept trying to knock the wall down.
It is a small world, we ran into our friend Tawnya while at the beach. Such a great day at the beach. We LOVE where we live!

Our Helper Monkey

We started out our Saturday morning with some yard work. Angie loves to help and feel involved so she got some gloves on as well.
Later Andy was fixing a shelf in the loft. When he stepped away for a moment Angie went in to help. We never showed her what to do she just had watched Daddy do it and figured it out. She would even put the screw driver in the screws, she just couldn't tighten them.
Such a beautiful, smart and precious little helper monkey.

Friday Disneyland with Daddy!

Andy had to work on Saturday so he took Friday off and we headed to Disneyland for some fun.
One of Angie's new favorite movies is Toy Story. She was just fascinated to see Buzz in "real life".
The last two times I have gone on Buzz Lightyear ride it has had a transmission error, grrrr! We got really good scores this time too because they had to stop the ride for some handicap people to get on. Anyway, here is the photo of our friends that we met up with, Matt, Claudia and Aiden.
Next up was Its a Small World which is still Angie's favorite ride. She thinks all the kids are singing to her.
She is so fascinated she would not even look at the camera.
Angie still won't look at the camera and is clapping, too cute.
Then we went to Mickey's house. Angie loves it there because everything is just her size.
I wanted a picture of myself in the fun house skinny mirror. I can dream can't I?
Angie loves music.
Matt, Mickey, Aiden and Claudia. So cute!
Last time we saw Mickey Angie cried but now she loves to watch Mickey on TV. She actually gave mickey a hug, he gave her a kiss back. Angie would not take her eyes off of him to look at the camera.
On the way out the two little ones took a test run of Mickey's car. It was a fun day and we look forward to many more of them.
