Valentine Get Away

Aunt Darby was in town and offered to watch Angie for the weekend. Not sure how many opportunities before we have two little ones to care for we decided to take her up on her offer. I was a little weary of leaving Angie only because she was having a runny nose and not at her full health but fully trusted my sister to care for her.

We went up to Lake Arrowhead for two nights. I was really looking forward to spending time with Andy, sleeping in, not having to cook or really "have" to do anything at all.

Walking around the shops by the lake we saw some guys doing ice sculptures. This one will be a duck.

The other one will be a lion.

So nice to walk around at a leisurely pace and sit and watch the snow fall while drinking hot chocolate with my Honey.

When we first arrived there was no snow but this much had started accumulating on our car already.

Then the snow really started to come down. Here is a baby bump shot for those interested (22 weeks).
