My dear friend Suubi married Cordy today in the most wonderful place to get married... the San Diego Temple. Andy and I were married there almost 12 years ago so we are a little biased. The beginning of the day looked cloudy and like it might rain but when we came out of the temple it was beautiful out!
Grandma Yumiko was going to babysit for us but felt like she was coming down with a cold and was unable to at the last minute so we decided to bring Angie. Andy was wonderful and waited outside with Angie. I am glad that we brought her because it gave us the opportunity to take some beautiful pictures of her on the Temple grounds.
Here is Angie with her Momma Suubi. Suubi has always called her "my baby" and we think that Angie gets her height from Suubi. Suubi was such a radiant bride. We are so happy for her and Cordy.
Suubi is moving to Riverside and we will miss seeing her all the time but will have to meet up with her for lunch because she will still work in the area.
Sorry for the massive amount of pictures of Angie here but I had a difficult time narrowing them down. They were all so beautiful.
On the way home we stopped at the cleanest, nicest McDonalds I have ever been to off of Del Mar. It was here after Angie ate a very good healty lunch we decided to let her have her first taste of McDonalds soft serve ice cream. It was love at first bite as you can see in the video.
Andy even let her chew on the last bit of his cone with her two cute little teeth. That evening we went to the reception. Here is our Visiting Teaching group. We sure have had some wonderful times together.I think that Suubi could be a model!Angie can give the sweetest snuggles.Angie even did some dancing with her Daddy.Stephanie, Suubi and Carol. They had weekly family home evenings together for quite a while and did some focusing on prepairing to go to the temple.Angie had a great time playing with the other children as she always does.A family photo with the classic finger in the mouth pose.We think that Angie will be either a hair stylist or dental hygenist when she grows up due to her obsession with hair and teeth. We said our goodbyes to Suubi before leaving. We had a great time and were so glad to be a part of their special day.
