Angie's First 4th of July

We started our Fourth of July by getting up early and staking out a spot on the lake for fireworks later in the day. Then we went to our church's Pancake breakfast. A yummy breakfast and patriotic ceremony. Angie had a great time crawling around in the grass with her church friends.
The auditorium steps made great support for a beginner walker.
Later the kids participated in a bike parade. Angie joined in on the fun via her decorated stroller with her Uncle Sam father pushing her.
The kids really enjoyed the parade.
Angie dressed all red, white and blue. Even her big beautiful eyes go along with the theme.
Wahoo a family shot. I wore festive red, white and blue pony tails in my hair.
Later we met up with Grandpa Bill and Grandma Yumiko for some delicious Salmon.
Right now other than sweets, Angie's favorite foods are salmon and sweet potatoes.

Here is Angie going Mmmmm.
Angie had a great time going around at the lake and visiting with all her friends. Here she is with her friend Ellie.Grandpa and Grandma.Visiting with more of her friends Val, Rebekah, and Henry.Festive family photo. For some strange reason Angie likes to chew on my hair. Weird.Angie enjoyed spending time with Grandma. She even moseyed over to Grandpa. Our friends Lisa and Andre holding baby Taylor only about 4 weeks old.Lisa loves kids and will snatch one up any time she can. Angie often enjoys Lisa's company. Her husband Andre lures the kids in to get them for Lisa. They make a great team. Here I am with Angie, Matt and baby Taylor. Matt broke his arm the day after Taylor was born. Angie kept trying to poke her eyes. "Gentle Angie, be gentle".Smiles for the camera.

Angie started out watching the fireworks on Daddy's lap. She was just mesmerized.
Then Mommy stole her.

In this video she was crying only because I was not letting her have the camera. She did well with the fireworks. We all had a wonderful day to celebrate our contry and our freedoms. We are so grateful for all the sacrifices that have been made to make our country what it is today.
