Week 34

We went to the doctor this week and everything is going great. I am getting more uncomfortable and having more trouble sleeping. To be expected and I may as well get used to the trouble sleeping part. This week I felt like a typical pregnant woman when I woke up at 4:30 am starving for food. This is quite an adventure being pregnant but I am so happy to be given the privilege.

Requesting advice from Parents

Calling all Parents. We would love you advice. This week we are asking for a list of what baby items you could not live without.

Week 33

Wow this week we had our breastfeeding class and part one of our labor and delivery class at Saddleback Hospital. Things are really hitting home. This week has been very hot and I am sure thankful for airconditioning. I have hit a slow down in my energy and despite the many things that I would like to get done the energy to do so just is not there. Am I supposed to have another burst of nesting energy before the baby is born?

Week 32

Here I am with the white blanket I crocheted for our baby. My friend Tina Clemence and I took a crochet class at JoAnns in January and February. It is my first crochet project and I think that I did a pretty good job for a first project if I do say so myself. It took me forever but hopefully baby will be able to feel the love that I put into it. Speaking of baby, she moves all the time now, rolling, poking and kicking. She is so cute and we look forward to meeting her face to face in eight weeks or so. We took a new baby care class this week and Andy's sister Karen has started teaching us about hypnobirthing. We are trying to get ready for the upcoming events.

Happy early Fathers Day Daddo

Darby, Cameron and I took our Daddo to Newport Rib Company for an early Fathers Day celebration. Yummy food. Happy Fathers Day Daddo we love you!!!!!!!!!

Acupuncture at Golden Needle

This is Andy and Megan with Dr Sam C Liang. We have been going Dr Sam for about a year and a half. He has helped Megan with her "female" problems and helped us with infertility issues and now with Megan's pregnancy discomforts. He has helped Andy with his knee and sinus problems. We are very grateful to Dr Sam and all he has done for us. We would recommend Dr Sam if anyone is interested in acupuncture. His office in in Lake Forest, CA and his phone is 949-472-6391.

Week 31

I am starting into the uncomfortably crowded stage of pregnancy. I guess getting more uncomfortable is one way to make you look forward to labor. In the background you can see our new curtains in the nursery with the futon in front. The nursery is crowded with furniture but is what we need to do while living in a two bedroom condo until we can afford a larger place.

Andy is a poll worker

Andy has volunteered as a poll worker. Now don't get that confused with poll dancer, that is just his hobby (just kidding). He was assigned to be a poll inspector at Hoover School in Santa Ana. I am so proud of him for working on developing his leadership skills.
