Georges Need to Eat Too

Angie LOVES Curious George and has a normal size George she calls "Mommy George" (from GG Lee) and a smaller George she calls "Baby George"(from her Illinois cousins) . They of course must have their hats with them at all times. I have no idea where Angie came up with that but she will panic if she cannot find the Georges or their hats. Whenever we need to go anywhere she always asks if Georges can come too. Today Angie also decided that Georges needed to eat breakfast with us too. Now we have to save a place for them at every meal. Silly Girl!

Grandpa Bob Angie Sits

Here is a picture of Angie taking a picture with her camera from Grandpa Bob.
Angie loves to twirl her hair while drinking. Sometimes this makes for some nasty knots in her hair.
Having fun making a mess. I love her "belt".
At the end of Grandpa Bob's visit he read her some stories before nap time. We are so grateful to be able to see Grandpa Bob almost every week.

The Beach in January!!!

Daddy had a day off for Martin Luther King Jr Day. The weather was in the 90's in RSM and 80's at the beach even though it was January so we decided to go to the beach.
Love to play in the sand.

Angie loves to run up and down the sand.
Our friends invited us to a beach we had not been to that had some fun tide pools. It is called Treasure Island in Laguna Beach near Aliso Creek Beach.
We saw lots of sea urchins, sea anemones, crabs, and snails.
Here Angie is with her friend Taylor. Angie is playing around the sand castle that the older girls had built. We had a great time and will for sure come again!

A Date with George

The Pretend City near us in Aliso Viejo had a Curious George display. Curious George is Angie's favorite so we had to go!
George was our first stop. Here you can see Angie making a move on George.
Angie had fun going up in the Rocket that George had with a fun slide at the top.
She loved building blocks with The Man in the Yellow Hat.
"Cheese!"
I love the science things that George teaches. Here Angie is making buildings and playing with light, colors, angles and shadows.
Here you can see her shadow work.
She takes her work seriously.
I just followed her around, next she wanted to play in the sand box.
They had tons of cars for the kids to play with, I like how she looks like she is going fast in this picture.
We did some gardening and working on the farm.
Then off to the Italian Resturante' where Angie spent a lot of time. I love how serious she looks here. She really does love to cook and will always pull up a chair to help when anyone is cooking at home.
Now that is a dollhouse!
Angie was not interested in going on stage to dance or act but loved pushing the buttons that controlled the lights and sounds.
Next time to paint. It was so nice that they provided smocks to protect their clothes.
I love to see Angie learn new things. It was super nice that she could make this mess somewhere other than home.
They had a fun water and wind area to play with little sailboats and again a nice protection for clothes.
One of the many cars to play with.
We had a good time. The price was a little high for my taste so we will probably wait until we have a good coupon until we go again. Angie would go again in a heartbeat.

Angie's Big Girl Bed has Arrived!

After a long struggle with exchanging the Antique white bed that first was mistakenly ordered we finally got Angie's big girl bed here and together. The only thing missing is the trundle bed that Daddy still needs to assemble. Anyone for a sleep over?

Eye on the Camera

Grandpa Bob took Angie for a nice long walk. For some reason Angie loves to play on the bike rack. She calls it the "bike swings".
Grandpa Bob was visiting and decided to take close up pictures of everyone's eyes with his fancy camera. The first picture is his eye.
The one above is my eye.
This one is Uncle Cameron's eye.
Then Angie's pretty blue eye. Kind of weird but still fun.
