Goose Egg

Andy went on his first business trip today since Angie has been born. It was a tuff day and to top it all off Angie fell and hit her head on the skinny part of the door and got this huge goose egg. This happened just as I was getting her to bed. I had to hold the ice pack on it which she hates.
Thankfully 15 minutes later she was back to her happy self.

A walk with Daddy

Angie and Daddy like to go on a walk together to get the mail. They are so cute together!

So cute!!!
If you look very close you can see the mailbox way at the end of the street. A great reason for a walk.

Bloomers

Angie just looked so darn cute in her little outfit with bloomers we just had to take some pictures.
She is such a happy girl, we are so blessed.
She really enjoys the new space she has to wiggle around in our new home.
She also loves the camera.
Like I said, those bloomers are so darn cute!

A Beautiful Day for a Wedding

One of Andy's co-workers got married and the reception was held at his boss Patty's home. It was such a beautiful reception with a comfortable atmosphere.
Bride Brittanie and Groom Bryce with their first dance. So sweet.
Angie met a little friend just a month older than her. She gave him a hello poke to the forehead.
They had a fun time together, notice both have lovely food stains on their clothes. I guess it is just the stage that they are in to get food everywhere.
Angie had to give the porcelain dog a little poke.

She is a walking and talking machine

We realized that Angie's walking skills have really improved since we moved in to our new home but we have been so busy unpacking etc that we have not captured it in video. Now my baby is walking, soon she will be driving.

In this video she collapses in laughter. I just love when she giggles.

This video shows how good Angie is at going upstairs and helping to close the gate to keep her from falling downstairs. Such a good little helper.

Dinner with the Girls

One night while Andy was busy with fixing things at the old place and going to church meetings Angie and I had our first dinner guests over (other than Grandpa Bob and Grandma Kathy). Pictured are myself, Robbie, Emily, Suubi, Kim and Carol. It was a great time to get together and visit. We look forward to having many more people over for dinner at our new home.

11 Month Portraits

We had Angie's 11 month pictures done. They always amaze me with the cute pictures they can get.
Now a days she wants to explore everything.
She is a cute little shar pei doggie with those back wrinkles.
Happy girl.
Angie with her favorite Mrs Bear stuffed animal her Great Grandma Lee made for her.

Love those big blue eyes.
Here she is with some of her favorite bed time things.
Nice try Angie, you are still cute when you cry.
Here is her "Very Hungry Spamdrew" book that her Aunt Kendra made for her.

She loves books, they are her favorite toy.

Moving is crazy

Moving is crazy. Next time I talk about moving remind me how crazy it is. While trying to pack an prepare to move a few days before Angie snuck away from me for just a few seconds and fell half way down the stairs. Thankfully she was not hurt. (I cannot wait to baby proof). Thankfully before moving in we have been able to have the place sprayed for bugs, cleaned, have done lots of painting and had new carpet put in or new place.

Despite many attempts ahead of time for help Andy had only one loyal friend show up to help him pack up the storage unit the night before the big move. Thanks Bruce you are the man!

Thankfully many more people showed up to help load up at the Mission Viejo home and even more showed up to help at the new Rancho Santa Margarita home. It goes to show the burden that can be lifted by the service and help of others.

Once the truck was unloaded Andy's Mom, Angie and I had to get dressed to go to Becca's (my soon to be sister in law) Bridal Shower. She had scheduled the Shower before we scheduled the move so it was our own fault. It was nice to have a break to sit and have fun at the shower but I felt guilty to leave Andy and my family behind with tons to do at the new home.

When we got home we found so much done. Angie's room was mostly put together, our bed was put back together, the kitchen table was assembled, and even most of our kitchen was unpacked. I owe a huge thank you to Grandma Kathy, Grandpa Bob, Uncle Cameron, Aunt Darby, Grandpa Bill, Grandma Yumiko, Bruce who did double duty and all the others who showed up to help. We could not have done it without you!

Moving in Picture Form

A couple of nights before we moved in we had the chance to do some touch up painting before getting new carpet and then moving in.
Here is Angie's darling room with the accent wall.

Once you move you realize how much stuff you have. Yikes!

Finally the third bedroom.
