This is our sister in law Kendra's version of Andy's baby girl. Hopefully she is wrong, way wrong.

Missouri Trip

I got to go with Andy on a business trip to Kansas City. We figured I may as well enjoy the freedom to travel while I can. While Andy worked I got to tour LDS church history sites in Missouri.

Week 21

Okay, I can no longer say that I am loosing weight. I am now at my pre-pregnancy weight. The baby seems to be growing like crazy. I feel like my stomach is getting crowded and can only imagine what the future holds for me. I know that this only means that my baby is growing and preparing to be a healthy newborn which brings me so much joy. Although I look forward to the future I am also enjoying the present.

Here is a different look at our baby. The look of the skull kind of reminds me of Halloween. What do you think we should dress her up as for Halloween? She should be almost three months old at that time.

Here is another look at the baby. Our ultrasound tech Lori says baby is a girl. Do you see what she could see?

We had another look at the baby today to better determine baby's gender. Baby was more cooperative today and it looks like baby is a girl. What do you think the baby looks like?

Week 20 Ultrasound, Baby's Profile

Here is our baby's profile. Andy thinks that the baby's stomach profile is just like daddy's. We got to see the baby's brain, face, lips, heart, spine, ribs, hands, arms, legs, feet, stomach, bladder, kidneys, umbilical cord, and placenta. Everything has checked out good and healthy which we are so grateful for. It is so humbling to imagine that this little life is living in my tummy and that we are going to have the blessing and opportunity to be parents of this little baby.

Week 20 Ultrasound

We kept trying and trying to see if the baby was a girl or a boy but baby was not cooperating. So mommy tried going on her right side, then on her left side. Still baby was being modest. Then mommy went to the bathroom and did some touching her toes stretches. Baby was not fully cooperating but we got a glimpse that the ultrasound tech said looked like a girl. She said that she was 90% sure but said that we could stop by next week to have another quick look at things. So for now we think that the baby is a girl but will hold off doing too much shopping until our ultrasound check next week.

Week 20 Ultrasound

This picture supposedly shows that the baby is a girl. What do you think?

Week 20

Wow it is now week 20 and my pregnancy is half way through! I have started to wear maternity undergarments. I am starting to get the feeling that my stomach might only get bigger from here. I feel like my stomach has had a growth spurt this last week. Although I still weigh less than I did pre-pregnancy I have slowly started to gain weight this last week. I feel the baby move all the time now and love the bond that I am having with my baby. I am very excited to have an ultrasound tomorrow where we will hopefully find out if the baby is a boy or girl. Stay tuned.

Week 19

Now it is week 19. I don't understand how this is happening but I actually weigh one pound less than last week. Go figure that when I don't really care about gaining weight I lose weight. I can definitely feel the baby move now. It is so cool. I already feel such love for this little baby we have been blessed with.

Week 18

Here I am at week 18. I still weight the same as before. Do I look any different from last week?

Week 17

Here I am at 17 Weeks. I am still down two pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight but saw my OB this week and she says that everything is going well. I have begun to feel little flutters and think that I am feeling the baby move. We will have our ultrasound in three weeks and hopefully baby will cooperate and let us see if we will be expecting a boy or a girl.

Week 17

Andy did not want to feel left out so here is a picture of him at 17 Weeks.
