Follow the Star part 1

Our sweet little Angela had the opportunity to participate in a Living Nativity as Baby Jesus in Follow the Star. This first night she performed twice. She cried for both performances but that is okay because then people knew that she was a real baby and not a doll. This was truly a great experience and I would encourage everyone who lives in this area to go next year.
Here she is with Rick as Joseph and Makenna (from our ward/group at church) as Mary.
A picture moment after her first performance.

Angie was asleep at first for the second performance but woke up with the bright lights during the performance and started to cry. This time Rick was Joseph again and Cammie as Mary.
The spirit of the miracle of Christ's birth was felt during all the performances and a sense of unity for a love of Christ could be felt.
Here is Angie and Daddy at home after wards. Angie is wearing her "gangster" hat that our neighbors knitted for her. So cute!

Disneyland Last Hurrah

Our Disneyland passes expired today so we decided to go for one last hurrah. We may get new ones later when Angie is old enough to enjoy things a little more. Our first stop was to the newer Toy Story ride at California Adventure.
The Toy Story ride is a 3D carnival type ride. You can shoot at things and collect points. Super fun! Here we are with our 3D glasses.
Next we went over to the Magic Kingdom rode the train and had some yummy soup bowls.
Here is Angie enjoying the ease of chewing on her hands in the Baby Bjorn.
Then we went on Buzz Lightyear. The pictures from the ride were not working but the ride was still fun.

Angie got to see her first fireworks show. She watched attentively and never even cried. It was interesting to watch a fireworks show synchronized with Christmas music.
This is Angie watching the fireworks.
The castle covered with "snow".
On our way out we got a picture in front of the Christmas tree on main street. Note that Angie finally fell asleep cuddled close to her daddy.

High Chair Time

We have started to try and have family dinner at the table all together when we are able. Andy's sister Karen was so nice to loan us a High chair. Angie plays with toys while we eat. I wanted Angie to get used to sitting in the high chair to prepare her for when she will be able to eat mush. Angie now sits in the high chair while I eat breakfast and lunch. She is getting big so fast!

Thankful for Family

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at my Dad's home. Present were Angie and Angie's Grandpa Bob, Grandma Kris, Aunt Darby, Uncle Cameron, Mommy, Daddy and Cousin Joseph. Great food and great spending time together.
Grandpa Bob taught Angie how to play the Piano.....
and the Guitar.
She actually got all 10 fingers in her mouth. I am sure she has been dreaming of and practicing for this moment.
Picture of everyone except Cousin Joseph.

Three Month Portraits

We got Angie's three month portraits done today. She was in a funny mood. She wanted to put everything in her mouth. She was also constipated, which is why I think it was so difficult to get her to smile. She finally did smile when the photographer spoke Spanish to her. Go figure. I still think she is the cutest ever smile or no smile.

Angie Learning Spanish

Today we tried sitting Ange in her little Bumbo chair. Her Aunt Darby was talking to her in spanish and she thought it was the funniest thing. Watch the video and you can hear her sweet laughs. Love it!!

Elisa Visits

My cousin Elisa is in the country visiting from Japan. We went out to dinner at a Thai place and had a wonderful time visiting. Pictured are Darby, Angie, Elisa, Daddo, Megan and Andy.

Taking turns napping with Angie

With Andy having surgery Aunt Darby has come to help out. Grandma Kathy thankfully also came to help last week. Every day I took a shower I would come out to someone taking a nap with Angie. So cute I had to take a picture.
