Christmas Day 2009

We enjoyed a quiet Christmas morning together unwrapping presents at Angie's slow pace. She was usually more interested in playing with the toy she just opened than moving onto the next present.
I found a child's purse and dress up things at a garage sale and put together Angie's very own purse and wallet. She always loves playing with mine, now she has her own to make a mess of.
This is a fun toy that a neighbor handed down to us. Angie loves it and can sometimes even match up the shapes.
Angie loves books and anything with buttons so I bought some books with buttons at a garage sale for her.

Here Angie opens one of the few things I bought on Black Friday. A color wonder to hopefully keep her a little quiet at church.

Our neighbors surprised us by getting Angie two darling toys. This is a book that she had shown interest in when we were at Costco. It is a farm book with plush animals that make sound when you press them. It is a big hit with Angie! This girl really loves books!

Here Angie enjoys opening this present from the neighbors. She really started getting the hang of it by the end of the day.Angie loves the little school house that the neighbors got her. We were pleasantly surprised by their generosity. Have we mentioned that we love our neighbors and where we live! We had a wonderful Christmas spending time together, taking a nap, taking a walk, saying hello to all our neighbors, keeping in budget and welcoming the Spirit of Christ into our celebration.

I love how gentle she is while she takes the paper off the packages. Adorable. Looks like you had a wonderful Christmas morning!
