Sweet GG Cindy, Richard and JJ

Angie's GG Cindy, Richard and JJ sent her an Amazon gift certificate for her Birthday. We got her some Melissa and Doug wooden food that Velcro together so they make a nice cutting noise when you cut them. Cindy is a great cook so we thought that would be fitting. Here Angie is showing off her cutting skills. Hanging off the chair you can also see her new frog rain coat also from Cindy, Richard and JJ. It goes with the frog boots that GG Lee and Brian got for her. Bring on some rainy weather!

My First Night Away from Angie

For my Birthday we decided to take Aunt Darby up on her offer to watch Angie for a weekend and just get away. We stayed at a nice hotel in Long Beach. Here are some pictures. They even had a docking station for our iPhones!

Playing Dress Up with a Friend

Today Angie had her friend Lexi come over to play. They actually played well together and had fun dressing up.

Angie's First Baseball Game

We carpooled with Uncle David and Aunt Becca to the Angels game. We met Andy there, he took the train from LA. I wish I had pictures of David and Becca but my camera is dead and the only pictures I got were with my iPhone.

This is Angie's first Baseball game. She loved the rally monkey and was happily up until 11pm!

Sweet GG Lee and Brian

Angie's sweet GG Lee sent her a Birthday card and Target gift card for her birthday. We took her to Target and let her pick stuff out. She had fun shopping. We are so grateful to have GG Lee in our lives. Thanks GG Lee!

Another 2nd Birthday Celebration

We then had a Birthday celebration for Angie with my side of the family. Angie sitting on Grandpa Bob's lap excited to see what is in the bag.

Breakfast with Our Friends

We had a delicious breakfast at Cinnamon Productions with friends this morning. Angie was so happy to eat and play with Raegan and I was happy to have some conversation with adults.

My Baby is 2 Years Old!!?!?

Today was Angie's actual Birthday. We did some of her favorite things, meet Daddy at Chick fil' A for lunch and went swimming in the evening.

I cannot believe this little girl is 2 already! Here are some things about her...

• She has to have her sunglasses "eyes" every time she goes outside
• She LOVES books
• She loves to give Daddy and Mommy hugs and kisses
• She loves to drink milk and will twirl her hair as she drinks
  
• She does not like many sweets
• Curious George is her favorite TV show
• Toy Story is her favorite Movie
• She is learning her numbers, letters, colors and shapes
• She is starting to sing songs and is super cute as she does might I add
• She loves to wear barrettes "hair pretty pretty's" in her hair
• She likes to jump and go on walks around the neighborhood
• She loves her neighbors and will welcome herself in their house whenever they open the door
• Kisses will make most owies better and she will insist on giving anyone who has an owie a kiss to help them feel better
• She loves the beach and playing with water with no fear, kind of scary
• She still puts everything in her mouth
• She is a good sleeper
• She will often clean things up without being asked. She sometimes even insists on it.
• She loves dogs, too bad Mommy is allergic
  
• She is very curious
• She loves to push buttons
• She learns how to use electronics without any help
• She loves to get dizzy or upside down
• She can be shy and whine when someone she does not know well gives her attention
• She likes to do puzzles
• She loves going up and down stairs
• She loves to find places to sit
• She loves her friend Raegan
• She often has a tuff time sharing
• She likes to play hide and seek

What do you remember about Angie?

Basically she is our favorite little 2 year old in the whole wide world and we are so happy she is in our family. Happy Birthday to our precious Angie!

The Rare Nap Cuddle Time

Church at 1:00pm makes taking a nap time a challenge. Angie did not get a nap before church but after church Andy was able to take a rare nap cuddle time with Angie. She rarely takes a nap outside of her crib.

Party, Beach and Party

We went to Jump N Shout for Angie's friend's Birthday Party. Angie LOVES it here!

After a short nap we went to Califia Beach. Believe it or not Grandma Kathy was with us, just not in the pictures.

This is my favorite picture taken at the beach. Angie just loves the water, you can see it in her face as the waves get her.

Next we played in the sand.

This picture was taken as Angie got some sand in her mouth. I think I would make that same face.

Angie had a good time destroying something someone before I am sure took a long time to make.

Next we had a nice little Birthday celebration for Angie with Grandma Kathy. She took all the pictures. I wish I had gotten one of her with Angie.

Her Birthday would not be complete with a little Toy Story.

Now she has her own laptop :)

I have a hard time making a cake for Angie because she does not like to eat sweets. She will not eat ice cream, cake or brownies. Occasionally she will eat some cookie. Maybe this will change by next years Birthday.

July Birthdays and Elisa Visits

Here we take advantage of having Aunt Darby be Angie's maid and math tutor. Good thing she is a math teacher :)

My cousin Elisa was here visiting from Japan. We had a delightful time visiting.

Now that Angie does not stop wiggling we decided to have dinner at our home. I am so thankful to have a home that we can host dinners at.

Now that we are adults we are not a diligent at celebrating our birthdays separately. In July Darby, Stephen and Andy had birthdays. Stephen was not able to attend but we had a bag of chips there symbolically for him since he does not like sweets. The rest of us had a brownie ice-cream cake. YUM!

The OLD candle was applicable to all :)

Visiting Aunt Darby in San Diego

Aunt Darby is so nice to watch Angie while I get my hair laser removal done (it is awesome by the way). It is a great excuse to visit Aunt Darby in San Diego and explore new things there.

Here they are having a fun time jumping on a moving bridge at the playground at the beach just walking distance from where Aunt Darby lives. Nice!

Angie sure loves her Aunt Darby and I am pretty sure her Aunt Darby loves her! We are grateful to have Aunt Darby in our lives.
