I love having Grandpa Bob come to visit for the day. He helps me a ton and the kids love it too!
Angie is so big she is standing on the train like she owns it.
We still have sunny days here in CA in December and need our shades.
I love when they play nice together.
They sure do love each other.
Danny is such a happy baby!
Always willing to give a smile.
In this video the suspense is intense as Danny keeps trying to get the remote. The remote was already destroyed earlier by big sister putting it in her mouth so it is now a toy. He is also super cute dishing out raspberries.
We started the day at a church activity Breakfast with Santa. Angie was terrified of Santa and Danny was just curious what was going on.
When we got home Danny practiced getting ready for crawling.
In the evening Danny got to play the part of Baby Jesus in the live nativity play Follow the Star. I am so happy that both of my children have had this chance.
During the first performance Danny cried the entire time because he was so tired. I kind of felt bad for the young woman playing Mary trying to calm poor little Danny.
The second performance was with our Bishop's daughter as Mary and Danny slept during the entire performance.
I am deeply grateful for this experience and especially for my Savior's birth, life, death and resurrection.
It was officially legal to put up the Christmas tree so we got to work. Angie was a great little helper.
A couple of my favorite ornaments. Angie and Danny's hands from when they were babies. Angie is demonstrating how much she has grown in the last three years. They really grow too fast!
Danny supervised from the highchair. He loved looking at all the lights and decorations. Excited for the Christmas Season approaching.
My wonderful friend Jen took our family pictures for Christmas cards. She was so incredibly patient with Angie who wanted nothing to do with the camera and insisted on keeping her favorite stuffed animal Momma George with her in the pictures.
At nap time we have a routine of reading stories and then singing primary songs. Angie loves her brother Danny. She tries to dress like him and loves having him in her bed during story and song time. Then she is left to go to sleep in her bed while Mommy takes Danny to his room, nurses him and puts him down for nap. Mommy is very happy that their nap times can go together!
Angie is such a trooper at the dentist. It helps that her friendMax's Dad is her dentist. No cavities but requests to clean the back teeth a little more thoroughly with brushing. Way to go Angie!
Angie had her first paying job of collecting the neighbors newspapers while they were out of town. Larry and Theresa are such nice neighbors and treat our kids like members of the family.
Angie had some fun splashing in the water as well. I love my little playful girl!
Angie has become very difficult to take pictures of these days. She has decided she no longer likes to cooperate. I tricked her today by asking if she could "help" me take a picture of Momma George. She loves Momma George so of course she was willing to participate.
