Angie has really started babbling. It is so cute and I caught some on video. Of course she acts a little different with the camera.

Happy Birthday to Me

For my Birthday my sweet sister Darby came up to watch Angie for me even though just the day before she was brave enough to get braces. I had a wonderful time spending 3 hours at a spa. It was very rejuvenating to spend some quiet time to myself. Later in the evening we all went out to dinner at Pad Thai.

Angie sure has an eye for the camera.

Dress up

We got these butterfly wings free while out looking at garage sales. Apparently we are not the only ones melted into spoiling her at the mere sight of her beautiful blue eyes. She loves wearing them and brings them to us to help her put them on. I love to see her imagination at work!

One year Portraits

Having professional pictures taken every month has now come to an end. With the new mortgage it is no longer in the budget. It has been a wonderful 12 months of capturing memories.

My sweet little baby is one year old!

Birthday Girl

For Angie's actual Birthday we met Daddy for lunch at the Irvine Spectrum. We ate lunch at Wahoos and then went looking in the pet store just for fun. Angie gets really excited about dogs. How do you explain to a one year old that Mommy is allergic to the doggies?

If she were older it might be considered cruel to take her to a pet store on her Birthday and leave empty handed. After the pet store we went for a ride on the carousel.
We thought the best thing we could do for her on her Birthday was to spend some extra quality time with her.We ended the celebration with some delicious Golden Spoon frozen yogurt.
Happy Birthday my dearest Angela. I cannot believe a year has gone by.

Angie's Beach Birthday Party

I was a bit burn out at playing host and Aunt Darby was nice enough to plan my family's Birthday Party for Angie. It was at Mission Bay a short walk from where Darby now lives. The weather and location were perfect.

She was so excited to get out in the water that she grabbed her Aunt Darby and Daddy's hands to head out.

She really loves the water.

The boys went out and really got wet.

Angie had fun playing in the sand with Uncle Cameron.

She had those pointer fingers ready to explore.

Angie helped Grandpa get a little sunburnt.

Then we headed back to Aunt Darby's place for some cake and ice cream.

Yup she still cries with the Happy Birthday song.

Cut out the middle man and place piece of cake directly in the mouth.

A Day of Fun

We got to have a fun day together with cousins Ryan, Kaylee and Renee.

First we went to the park.

Ryan showed off his spider man skills.

The girls had fun playing in the sand together.

Then off to friends Adrian and Nicole's home for some swimming.

The hot tub was a popular spot.

Angie sure had a good time.

I had fun too.

Ryan was a brave swimmer.

Ryan even went down the slide many times. With mommy.

And with his daddy.

The girls have gotten good in the water as well.

Andy had a great time beating up Ryan.

Andy went down the slide with our friends boy Niko. For 2 years old he is sure great in the water.
