Now remember the camera adds 10 pounds. Our little baby is doing well and kicking all the time (especially when mommy wants to sleep). Andy and I measured our waistlines this weekend and we now measure the same. Somehow I think that I will win in the end.
We went to the doctor today who said that we are doing great! We love hearing that. The baby likes to be active in the middle of the night and others can now feel her move. My sister came to visit and said that she could not stop looking at my belly. Andy then jokingly said "Darby, Megan's eyes are up here". Andy is so silly. I am enjoying this whole experience and I am so grateful for this blessing.
Wow, I think that baby has had a growth spurt. I am now beginning to put on some pounds. Hopefully not too quickly. This week we got a baby prison (crib). It is really beginning to feel like we will be having a baby this summer. Wow, it just feels like a dream because we have been waiting so long for this wonderful miracle.
The weeks are flying by and I cannot believe that it has been 22 weeks. We had a little scary experience while on our Missouri trip. When I plugged in an iron at the hotel there was a large spark, smoke and some of the lights went out. I had a large amount of soot on my hand that wouldn't wash off. I was worried about the health of the baby so we went to the ER. Thankfully the baby was fine. What a wonderful sound it is to hear that little heart beat. I then asked the doctor if the baby now has super-powers and the doctor said that the baby now does. Andy thinks the baby's super-powers are a magnetic personality. What super-powers do you think the baby has?
I went shopping and found some very cute outfits. Andy picked this one as his favorite so far. He is so excited to become a Daddy. I know that he will be such a wonderful Daddy and also look forward to our baby's arrival.
