Goodbye Grandma's Old Home Hello New Home

We actually picked Angie up from Grandma's after our night out and brought her back to the hotel with us since Grandma needed to be somewhere early in the morning. Glad we had a king bed because Angie eventually fell asleep perpendicular to and in between Andy and I. I am grateful I got to cuddle with her cute little noggin because Andy got kicked with her feet all night :)
Some more fun on Grandma's swing set.
Angie and Finn had fun playing with toys while we visited.
Finn is such an adorable little guy.
Andy looks pretty good holding a little boy don't you think? Just a matter of time before we have one of our very own.
Fun playing with cars on the table while Andy balances both of them.
I enjoyed watching Angie and Finn interact.

Funny just by coincidence we dressed Angie in a "Big Sister" shirt and Kendra dressed Finn in a "Little Brother" shirt. Some trouble getting the two of them to pose though.
Next we went to see Grandma Kathy's new home. The nice thing about her new home is she has a swimming pool and it is an hour closer to us :)
Finally a group picture of us thanks to Grandma's Realtor.
We drove home from Grandma's new house. Thankfully Angie slept for a little while. She insisted on using eye shades to sleep like Mommy but did not exactly wear them correctly. I am so glad that we were able to visit with family, especially Brain, Kendra and Finn since they live so far away and Brian will be deployed for a year. They are in our prayers for a safe deployment and support for Kendra taking care of their three kiddos without Brian there to help out.

Family Time in AZ

Our second day in AZ we had fun with Grandma Maureen and Grandpa Ray in the morning.
Thanks to Kendra's request we had a delicious lasagna lunch. Probably the last big family meal in this home.
Angie is constantly wiggling but had a good time.
We went outside in the backyard to play for a little while. Here is Andy, the biggest kid on the playground.
Despite having a bit of a stomach bug Finn was a happy boy.
Here is Grandpa Ray, Grandma Maureen, Finn, Brian and Kendra. We don't make it out to AZ often anymore so I make sure to get pictures.
Here we are with Andy's Grandparents, Angie's Great-Grandparents. The time came to say goodbye to the Grandparents because someone was coming over to look at the house (it is up for sale). While Grandma was shopping we took the kiddos to the park.
He is so cute I could just eat him up!
The dinosaur was a popular attraction at the park.
Finn and Brian had a turn too.
It was so fun to spend time with Brian, Kendra and Finn. I had not seen them since a year earlier when they moved to the East Coast. Finn was only days old when they moved, so even though we missed Zoey and Abbie who stayed home on the East Coast with their other Grandma, it was nice to get to know Finn.
We had fun feeding the ducks. The duck on the right in-front of Angie had a funny little Afro.
Kendra and Finn.
Finn must have thought he was a duck or that he could walk on water because he kept trying to climb down into the water with the ducks.

Here is the video proof. Pardon the wind noise and bounce house noise in the background.
This would be his reaction when Mommy or Daddy would stop him from getting in the water. Too funny!
Next we went on a train ride. Daddy and Angie did this last time we were here and Angie talked about it for weeks.
The Finnster came along too.
Lots to look at.
Kicking back with Daddy on the train.
Angie was a great tour guide pointing everything out.
After the park we went back to our friends house where Angie got another go at the drums.

Angie demonstrates that more cow bell is needed for rock band.
Later that night we took advantage of free Grandma babysitting for the second night in a row and went to Jesterz comedy club with a fun group. It was nice to have a night out and have some good laughs.

Stottfest 2011

Andy's brother Brian is being deployed out of country for a year. He, his wife Kendra and their son Finn were visiting in AZ from North Carolina so we jumped at the opportunity to see them. As tradition our friends hosted a rock band party. Loved it!
Angie warmed up on the keyboard.
So cute to see Angie love to be a part of the fun.
Andy plays the bass while Angie warms up the drumsticks.
Andy on the bass and Brian on the drums.
Chilling out for a minute. Funny story about Angie, she discovered if she just went up to people by the chip table and gave them a sweet innocent please they would give her some more chips. The girl has already learned the power of her girlish charm.
Here the girls are ROCKIN' IT!
Angie back at the keyboard.
Angie the roadie.
Angie finally got her wish, to play the drums for a song. She loved it!
We all had a great time partying into the night. So grateful for fun family and friends.

University Park in Irvine

The day had come for Aunt Darby to fly home. On the way to the airport we decided to stop at University Park in Irvine to help break up the drive for Angie and to have some fun.
This park had some great age appropriate things for Angie to do. She loved climbing up this to get to the top.
Angie was so excited to play it was hard to get her to stop for a picture.
So much to explore.

There were lots of fun things that would spin for Angie to play on. She loved it!

This was a little spiny seat perfect sized for Angie.

Then our little monkey went on the monkey bars with Aunt Darby's help.
We had a great time having Aunt Darby visit and can't wait until she comes back again.

Family Dinner and Gift from GG Lee

GG Lee sent a package for Angie and we decided to open it when all the family was over for dinner.
Angie loves to open packages.
Angie says "Oooo, a pretty dress".
Two pretty colorful dresses for summertime. We are very grateful to GG Lee for thinking of us and sending such generous surprises.
My sister Darby made a delicious dinner. It was so nice to have a good meal and good company.
My Daddy and his "kids". I love getting the family all together. It is harder now that my sister lives in Oregon but I am so grateful that she can come and visit often.
