Big Splash

Karen and Joe were house sitting for someone who had a pool. It was super hot outside so we decided to go and keep the pool company. The pool had a nice shady shallow area for the small kiddos.
Angie was dressed and ready, even with some sun glasses. Such a glamor girl.
Andy, Brian, Ryan and Zoey spent most of their time in the deep end.
Andy and Ryan had such a great time together.
Angie was still somewhat clingy in the pool for her second time in, not bad.
The monkeys even got out to play on the play ground.
Angie was not too fond of the deep end with all the splashing going on.
There was a slide. Ryan felt safe as long as his Mommy was there to catch him.
Big splash, good catch Karen.
Zoey had a whale of a time.
Ryan means serious business with his water wings on.
Angie preferred to play against the rock in the shallow end.
The twins have started taking swimming lessons.
Andy, looks like you have gained some water weight. I know the camera adds 10 lbs, but come on!!
Free Willy!!!
Nice water displacement, surprised there is still water in the pool.
The girls playing in the kiddy pool.
Abbie gets such pretty curls.

Here is a tidal wave of splashes in this video!
My cuddly little water baby.
Later that night we drove back home and arrived home safe in the wee hours of the morning.
Angie enjoyed helping to drive by being a monkey during a pit stop. I love that cute little monkey!

Grandma Kathy's Wedding

We were so excited to see all the family as we got together for Andy's mom Kathy's wedding in beautiful Sedona Arizona. Here Angie and I are with Angie's Great Grandmother Nita.
Here the father and stepfather of the bride are armed with their cameras.
Grandma Maureen with her two daughters, Mary and Kathy.
David's fiance and soon to be Angie's newest Aunt Becca.
Me and Angie. Her hair was so light and frizzy in the dry Arizona climate.
All the kids are happy to help Aunt Karen with the rose petals.
John and Grandma Kathy with 6 of the 10 grand kids.
Look I have two flower bouquets.
Silly smile Abbie.
Zoey's serious smile. Elbow, elbow, wrist, wrist.
Ryan and Zoey walking "down the aisle".
Grandpa Donald walking the bride "down the aisle".
The ceremony.
Beautiful background of Sedona.
Pretty flowers and pretty girl.
So sweet to see Abby hold her Great Aunt Mary's hand.
Flower girl and ring bearer pose with bride, groom and preacher.
The whole trip all the kids played so nice together. Angie really loved being around her cousins.
They even shared their flowers with her.
Family picture with beautiful background.
Zoey and her Great Grandma Maureen.
David and Becca, the next family wedding coming in August.
Brian, Kendra, Zoey and Abbie, and we just found out that someone new will arrive to their family in January. Yea!
Ryan and Zale having a good time.
I still have a hard time telling the twins apart. She is sure cute though even with a binky in her mouth.
Aunt Mary and Grandma Nita.
The twins have been contained, for the moment that is.
Having a good time playing on the rocks while the adults make sure no one takes a swim in the river. Thankfully everyone stayed dry. The weather cooperated by not having a thunderstorm until we were done and headed off to our cars to go out to dinner.

Grandma Kathy's Wedding Reception

We went to dinner at a local restaurant after the wedding for the reception. This time we were sure to take pictures with Andy's grandparents. Here is Grandpa Ray and Grandma Maureen.
Here is Grandpa Donald and Grandma Nita who traveled all the way from northern CA to AZ for the wedding.
Kathy was so excited that her friend Stephanie traveled from southern CA to come to the wedding.
Brian and Kendra visiting with Grandpa Donald and Grandma Nita.
Stephanie and Zale giving big smiles.
All the kids were starving while waiting for the food so they dined on Parmesan cheese on the table.
Say Parmesan cheese....
Abbie is so cute!
Angie with Grandma Kathy.
Kathy visiting with her friend Annette and her family.
Zoey was so sweet to check on Angie to make sure she felt loved.
We learned that Angie loves spinach and cheese ravioli. She ate a good portion of Andy's.
The cutting of the cake. The small chocolate one was my favorite.
The kids all enjoyed the cake which you can visibly see on their faces covered with frosting.
Face painting with frosting. Quite the imagination.
Zale was sure to not miss out on the face painting.
Andy and Ryan wore twinner outfits. Can you tell them apart?
The view of the red rocks from the restaurant.
Kathy's friend Annette and her family decorated the car. Great job!
Off they go!
After dinner we stopped by Grandpa Ray and Grandma Maureen's home in nearby Cottonwood. Here you can see a view of Sedona from their deck.
Grandma Maureen makes the most beautiful quilts. This one is to be entered into the contest this year.
Angie really enjoyed the 3D fish quilt on Grandma's wall.
Here is Grandma with two of her little babies. Too bad I am allergic. Angie waved bye bye for the first time to Grandma Maureen and Aunt Mary, then she was scared and cried by our loud cheers and clapping in response to her waving.
A goodbye kiss from Grandpa Ray.
