Angie Says Ma Ma

We had gone to some friends baptism and were heading to a get together afterwards when Angie was in the back of the car getting hungry. She started crying Ma Ma Ba Ba... over and over. I was convinced that she was asking her Momma to get her a Baba but Andy thinks she was just babbling. I just think that he was jealous that she has said Ma Ma before saying Da Da even if she may not know what it means.

Selling our first Home

We have decided to sell our first home. This condo has served us well for almost 11 years. Now that we have Angela in our family the two bedrooms is not enough especially when we have family visiting (they seem to visit more frequently now that we have Angela :-). Wish us luck and send anyone you know our way who is in the market to buy a condo.
The location is the first thing that caught our attention about our condo. It is an upper end corner unit overlooking O'Neill Park and does not have a condo feel to it. With our new windows there is no noise or extreme temperatures like there was before.
We have the nicest neighbors and wish that we could take them with us when we move.
This is Angela's room which overlooks O'Neill Park. We added a ceiling fan, moldings, painted the room, replaced the carpet, added window treatments and replaced the window.
This is Angela's bathroom with lots of storage space and a full bathtub/shower. We painted, added moldings, replaced the toilet, replaced the flooring, put in new light fixtures/fans, new faucet, new hardware and added a cute little decorative hook rack (Andy made it and did a wonderful job, not pictured, you will just have to come over and see it). This is the master bathroom with two sinks, separate tub and shower and extra storage/linen cabinets. We painted, had the shower reglazed, replaced the shower door, replaced the light fixtures, added a second medicine cabinet, replaced the toilet, new flooring, moldings, door, and hardware. I don't know if I will be able to get another bathroom this spacious in my next home. This is the master bedroom with new ceiling fan, paint, molding, door, carpet and a lovely new sliding glass door that leads to one of our balcony's. My mother in law and I made the drapery's.This is the beautiful view from our master bedroom balcony. This is our living room with new paint, carpet, molding, fireplace, mantle (Andy made it and did a wonderful job), ceiling fan, windows, and window treatments. I love how open, light and bright everything is.This is our kitchen with new paint, hardware, flooring, faucet, and my favorite dishwasher (Merry Christmas to us).The kitchen as seen from the dining room.
Our dining room with new paint, moldings, carpet, window treatments and window.
This is the view from our front door and also from Angela's room.
Our balcony.
Our lovely balcony off the dining room. I will miss that beautiful view from my home.
This is the association's pool which I spent most of my summer enjoying while I was pregnant.

Creeky Old House

Angie makes a noise that her Aunt Darby calls Creeky Old House. It is one of her happy noises and another thing that makes her our wonderful unique baby.

Angie loves a camera

I was trying to get a blackmail video of Angie grunting to fill her diaper but she became a smiling ham once the camera was out. In the video you can see her beautiful smile, cute squeel, saying blah blah blah, showing her #1 with her fingers and fussing a little. We really love having her in our family.

Blah blah blah blah blah

A quick update on what Angie has been up to. She now babbles blah blah, just like her Aunt Darby. I will try to get a good video of it for you, it is very cute. She started that on Friday. She has also started rolling around to get at things and occasionally will get on all fours and lunge forward. I am afraid she will be crawling soon. She never is in the same position in the crib that you left her in. She still does not like to eat mush but is starting to more regularly sleep through the night. Hallelujah! Now we just need to start going to bed at a decent hour.

"A Very Hungry Spamdrew"

Butter's 'wrote' a book and gave it to me for Christmas called "A Very Hungry Spamdrew." Here I am reading it for the first time. Watch until the end to see my reaction with the punchline.

Here are excerpts from the book:

Five Month Portraits

Okay I need you help. We got Angie's 5 month portraits done today. She did a great job and had many smiles and cute poses. The package I bought has two 10x13 pictures and 15 sheets which can be an 8x10 two 5x7's four 3.5x5's or a bunch of wallets. I need help picking which pictures and what sizes to choose. Typically I like the 5x7's and maybe one set of wallets but still need to pick which ones to do. Let me know your favorites (The number is below the picture).
