Week 39

Here is some of what we have been up to this last week.
I went shopping with my wonderful Daddy who bought us many of the baby supplies that we still needed. Here is Andy demonstrating the new diaper bag and contoured changing pad some of the many things that Daddy bought. Thanks Daddo!!
I have been practicing my Hypnobirthing (courtesy of Andy's sister Karen) to prepare for labor and delivery (wish me luck). Also in my right hand is my reacher which I use to pick up things on the floor, in the back of the dryer etc. to avoid too much bending and hurting my back.
Packing my hospital bag to be ready and hopefully not forget anything when the exciting time comes any day now.

Happy Birthday to Andy and David

Baby Angie gave Andy a clay hand/foot print keepsake kit for his Birthday.
We went out to breakfast at Cinnamon Productions to celebrate David and Andy's Birthdays. Yummy!
My muscle men that I keep around the house to help with all the heavy work at home.

Week 38

My sister came to visit me this week. It was so nice to have her around to help with cooking, cleaning and organizing. She even taught Andy's almost 19 year old brother David to do some cooking! David has been actually helping with cooking and cleaning, is this the real David or an impersonator? She also helped me get some light exercise and spoiling. We met up with her friend Ashley who now lives in our ward (local church meeting group for our area) and got our toe nails done. Mine are the puffy ones in the blue, Darby's are in the tan and Ashley is in the black. After we went to Golden Spoon and had frozen yogurt, what a great day.

Here is your chance to put in your prediction of when baby will be born, how much she will weigh and how tall she will be. The winner will be rewarded one opportunity to steal the baby from Andy's arms without any allowed protest from him.

Week 37

This picture is worth 1,000 words because it perfectly describes how I was feeling. After having Andy away on a business trip for 5 days (Yes he had to stay one extra day) we took this picture at about 10:30pm. So I was tired, very swollen and this was the only pose I felt up to doing. Anyone who has been 37 weeks pregnant during the summer will understand without anything being said. I did have my massage on Wednesday which was wonderful (Thank you Andy my wonderful husband for setting that up). Everything continues to be going well and we are very grateful for this healthy pregnancy and baby. Now that we have reached 37 weeks the baby could come any day and be healthy. We will keep everyone posted.

This is Andy & I at Elisa's Party. Thankfully the weather was quite comfortable in the shade. It was nice to visit with family.

Week 36

Here I am with my sister Darby. It is nice to hang out with her when she visits from San Diego. I am starting to get more uncomfortable and would welcome baby's arrival any time after this next week. Andy is on a business trip until Wednesday so we want baby to stay put until at least then. For now I will try to find relief from going to the pool. Andy is such a sweetheart, he scheduled a pregnancy massage for me on Wednesday to help me survive in his absence. I love him very much, he is such a wonderful support to me.

We had our baby shower this last week. It is humbling to see how many family and friends are so supportive and excited about our upcoming arrival. Thanks to everyone, we can't wait to dress her up and use all the wonderful presents. Here are some photos from the baby shower. Thanks to my friend Andrea for taking all the photos.
Here I am mommie to be. Someone will have to help me out of this comfy chair.

Week 35

I have discovered the joy of exercising in the pool. Not only is it hot outside but the water taking the weight off feels great. We are working on getting more prepared and are excited for our upcoming baby shower. We celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary over the weekend by going down to San Diego. Fairly low key but that is all I am up for now days.
